Terms & Conditions

By accessing our Site, requesting a quote, or utilizing our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.

1. Services Provided

 

Salute Services Environmental is a locally owned, veteran-operated environmental and waste management company serving the Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado areas. We provide:

  • Commercial waste and trash collection

  • Recycling services

  • Front-load container rentals

  • Roll-off dumpsters

All Services are subject to availability, geographical service areas, and the execution of a separate Service Agreement where applicable.

2. Use of the Website

 

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:

  • Using the Site in any way that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

  • Engaging in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Site.

3. Quotes, Agreements, and Billing

  • Quotes: Any quotes provided via the Site or over the phone are estimates based on the information provided by the user. Final pricing will be outlined in a formal Service Agreement.

  • Billing: We pride ourselves on straightforward pricing and consistent billing. Payment terms, including billing cycles and due dates, will be specified in your individual Service Agreement.

  • Late Fees: Failure to pay invoices on time may result in late fees, suspension of Services, or retrieval of our equipment (containers/dumpsters) from your property.

4. Waste Restrictions and Prohibited Materials

 

For the safety of our team, the public, and the environment, strictly prohibited materials must not be placed in any Salute Services Environmental containers, dumpsters, or recycling bins. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Hazardous waste (e.g., asbestos, chemical products, radioactive materials)

  • Flammable or explosive materials

  • Wet paint, motor oil, and automotive fluids

  • Batteries (e.g., car batteries, lithium-ion batteries)

  • Medical waste or biohazards

  • Tires and large appliances containing Freon (unless explicitly approved in advance)

Placing prohibited materials in our containers may result in immediate rejection of the load, additional handling fees, or termination of your Service Agreement.

5. Equipment Care and Liability

​

  • Placement and Access: The customer must ensure that all dumpsters and front-load containers are placed on a hard, level surface. The customer must also ensure clear, safe, and unobstructed access for our collection vehicles on the scheduled service day. If our drivers cannot access the container, a "dry run" fee may apply.

  • Damage to Equipment: While Salute Services Environmental equipment is on your property, you are responsible for any damage caused by misuse, fire, vandalism, or overloading. Normal wear and tear is expected.

  • Overloading: Containers must not be loaded above the top rim, and total weight must not exceed the specified legal limits of the container. Overweight dumpsters may be subject to additional tonnage fees or refused for pickup until the load is adjusted.

6. Intellectual Property

 

The content, layout, design, data, databases, and graphics on this Site are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws and are owned by Salute Services Environmental or its licensors. You may not reproduce, download, transmit, or distribute any part of this Site without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Salute Services Environmental shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site or Services.

  • Any damage to pavement, concrete, or driving surfaces resulting from the weight of our trucks or containers on your property (customers assume this risk upon requesting equipment placement).

  • Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Indemnification

 

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Salute Services Environmental, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Modifications to Terms

 

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Colorado.
